Anthony Unti is the son of an Italian immigrant. And he wears that label with pride. To him it represents tenacity and success.

From his first job at sixteen years old as a food delivery boy for the Venice Restaurant in the Bronx, to the business owner he is today, he carries with him the valuable work ethic passed on to him by his father. It is that work ethic that led him to take the entrepreneurial leap, making his dream a reality. It is this vision that has allowed him to create Imperial Cabinetry and Millworks.

For over 25 years, Anthony has been working with wood. He has done everything from framing a house to trimming a room. He has worked alone and he has run a crew. He has learned and he has taught. And through all of this, he has maintained the very same work ethic instilled in him by his father. It is present in everything he does. The Integrity. The Pride. The Honesty. The Character.

For the past eight years, his focus has been primarily on custom cabinetry. He is a Master Carpenter by trade, but modestly refers to himself as “a cabinet guy”. If you asked him what he does, he would probably ask you, “What do you need done?” as he is able to do just about any task thrown in his direction.

The common denominator in all of his projects is this: He builds for you as he would build for himself. He wants to be known for providing a quality product, in a timely fashion. He refuses to build an inferior product by cutting corners and “slapping something together”. He does it well and he does it right. He is keenly aware of budget and time constraints and will work within these parameters to provide all of his clients with what is best for their needs.

In the Nashville area, Anthony has worked for high profile, music industry clients who request custom gun cabinets, rotating garage units and outrageous theater room set-ups. But he’s also built kitchens and pantries for mothers who work at home, juggling husbands and families and who need “just the right kitchen” to take care of their brood. His wife may very well be one of his most demanding clients, requesting custom spice cabinets, a roll-out pantry and a hydraulic cabinet system in which to store her Kitchen Aid mixer. Anthony meets with every client personally. Expect to find him sitting at your kitchen table or across from you in your office conference room after he’s done measuring the room he’ll be building in. He will discuss the needs of your family or business, work with your design and layout needs, and let you know what to expect when working with him. He will give suggestions if asked and make adjustments when necessary to ensure your satisfaction. One thing you can be sure of, is his straight forward approach and his desire to give you exactly what you ask for.
